Day three takes you through the picturesque Kalaa Magouna’s Rose Valley, followed by the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally, you’ll travel through the majestic High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where you’ll spend your last night in a cozy Riad.

Tour Plan

DAY 1: ERRACHIDIA – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA – CAMEL TREKKING – OVERNIGHT IN DESERT CAMP

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or your hotel in Errachidia. The first leg of your journey takes you through the scenic Ziz Valley, where you’ll pause to admire the picturesque views. From there, proceed to Erfoud, known as the "Fossil Capital" of Morocco, before continuing your drive to Merzouga Desert.

Once you arrive at Merzouga, check into your hotel and relax. Later, you’ll prepare for an incredible camel trek into the heart of the dunes to catch the mesmerizing sunset.

Upon arrival at the desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with refreshing mint tea before settling into your comfortable tents, equipped with bathrooms and showers. As the Sahara presents its breathtaking evening hues, enjoy a delicious dinner while a musical performance by the camp’s group adds to the charm of the starry night.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ARFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, as the desert comes alive with a colorful display of light and shadow. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga, where you'll meet your driver and start your journey to Dades Gorges.

The first stop of the day is Rissani’s traditional market, where you’ll experience the vibrant display of colors, fragrances, and sounds, especially if it’s a market day (Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays). Then, continue to Arfoud, where you’ll visit a workshop showcasing fossilized marble.

Drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad and stop for a lunch break. Afterward, head to Todgha Gorges, famous for its tall, red cliff-sided canyons that are ideal for rock climbing. Wander around the gorges and take in the stunning natural beauty.

Your journey continues to Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. You’ll stop along the way to admire the famous "monkey fingers" rock formations and a charming viewpoint on a mountain with breathtaking views of the valley. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

DAY 3: DADES GORGE – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, continue your journey to Kalaa Magouna to explore the Rose Valley. If you’re visiting in May, you can attend the Rose Festival, where locals showcase rose products like perfume, rose water, and decorations.

Next, you’ll pass through the palm trees of Skoura Oasis on your way to Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, visit the famous film studios where numerous films have been shot.

The journey then continues to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This famous fortified town has been featured in many movies and TV series, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, travel to Marrakech, passing through the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy scenic stops for lunch and photos along the way. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a Riad in Marrakech.
