Tour Plan

DAY 1: ERRACHIDIA AIRPORT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA Hotel

Your tour begins with a pick-up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or your hotel in Errachidia. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Ziz Valley, stopping for breathtaking views. Continue to Erfoud, known as the "Fossil Capital," before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Check into your hotel for a magical dinner, accompanied by traditional Berber music, while immersing in the serenity of the desert night.

DAY 2: EXPLORING THE DESERT – VISIT NOMADS – CAMEL TREKKING – OVERNIGHT DESERT CAMP

After breakfast, head to Khamlia village to experience the lively Gnawa music. Explore off-road to visit nomadic Berber families in traditional tents, where you’ll enjoy tea and Berber pizza for lunch. In the afternoon, prepare for a camel trek into the dunes to witness a stunning sunset. Arrive at the desert camp, where you'll settle into your tents with ensuite bathrooms and showers. Enjoy a delicious dinner and traditional music around the fire under the starry night sky.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ARFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

Wake up early for a mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel. Meet your driver and head towards Dades Gorges, stopping at Rissani’s market if it’s market day (Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays). Continue to Arfoud for a visit to a fossilized marble workshop before driving through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. Stop for lunch and then visit the stunning Todgha Gorges, where you can explore the high red cliff-sided canyons. Proceed to Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades, and enjoy scenic views of the famous "monkey fingers" rock formations. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

DAY 4: DADES GORGE – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, visit Kalaa Magouna and explore the Rose Valley, especially if you’re visiting during the Rose Festival in May. Continue through the palm trees of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, where you'll visit the film studios. The tour continues to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, known for its appearances in films like "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones." After exploring the Kasbah, head to Marrakech, passing through the scenic Tizi-N-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Make stops for lunch and photo opportunities before concluding your tour with an overnight stay at a Riad in Marrakech.
